We have got plenty of snow so I thought Snow Tea Cakes would be suitable for today's tea by the fire. I'm sure they not meant to serve only on snowy days, but you have to admit that it is tempting. And while in the kitchen why not make some Fruit Cookies too.
Snow Tea Cakes.
3 tablespoons sugar, 3 cups milk, 2 eggs, 4 cups flour, 2 teaspoons yeast powder. Bake in muffin-rings.
1 cup sugar, 3/4 of butter, 2 eggs, 1/2 teaspoon soda, 1 cup chopped raisins, all kinds of spice, 2 tablespoons pickled peach juice, flour enough to roll out.
