Oh, Duncan Grant! I don't think I've ever really seen any of his work; I've read about him, the person, but what a treat to see a painting. It is so beautiful. Quel couleur! :<)
I like Duncan Grant's paintings - as well as Vanessa Bell's and several of the other Bloomsbury artists'. I have some books about the group and find it fascinating to read about them - even if I'm sure time has granted the group a romantic splendor. How I wish I could visit some of the houses where they lived. Margaretha
