A lovely spring day

0
The Bird Cherry has a lovely light foliage now. It will take a while before it will bloom – but the buds are almost as beautiful as the flowers.

So much happens in the garden right now, everytime I turn around something new has sprung – or disappeared. I took this picture of the Pulsatilla Vulgaris this morning.

An hour later I went out to get a better picture – and this is what I found.

I went to town to pick up my new computer the other day – I’m sure I’ll like Vista as soon as I get used to all the new gadgets.

  1. Such beautiful photographs. Life always changes and I'm glad you got to see this flower before it was (evidently) devoured. Thirty-four years ago today my first child was born, Alice. We celebrated her birthday this evening. It was also the day South Vietnam surrendered. Long ago and far away.

  2. Kristi,
I read on another blog that hairspray protects your plants from being eaten – it’s worth a try. Even if I have to buy some as I haven’t used any hairspray in the last 40 years.
How time flies, it’s hard to believe you have children that is older than you think you are yourself….. Say “grattis” to your daughter from me. It’s short for gratulationer – congratulations.
