A perfect day

The wood anemones are budding.
The sheets are flapping in the wind and thousands of small suns are dancing on the rivers surface. It is one of those days when life is holding its breath – yesterday, now and tomorrow have conflated into a sunny eternity.

I spent some time with Gutenberg this morning and found several interesting books – but right now I prefer to close my eyes and listen to the bumblebee who is humming somewhere behind me. I might tell you about the books later.

  1. That does sound perfect, Margaretha. We have lost our summery weather now and have a chilly wind blowing all the blossom from the trees.

  2. Maureen,
Yes, it is a perfect day – and we’re still sitting outside. Too lovely to blog, it has to wait – but if you don’t mind trying to understand pidgin-English you ask Google to translate my Swedish blog (http://bastmattan.blogspot.com/). It’s about your book and some hedgehog memories.

  3. The Google translation is very quick but oh, so funny! Fortunately, the many years that I spent teaching deaf children made me quite expert at making sense of "picturesque" English.

I hope you are enjoying the book and that we can share opinions on it later.
