A gorgeous day after a cold night. It is still cold and I'm not a bit tempted to work in the garden. A walk along the river sounds better.![](https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjsAEgnCgLojgYdYbU-8pwxcUB4rU3UHutGysVJFpx8x3tQDGP1ctjZe-AyxCV3UjQKfqJdqgNkNNGvphlLDmM6Xs6W0hfOyrc9pwtuil7lO4qb8WeWaQckgZEivpPsjQAo_npLTIXdTDaq/s400/motljus.JPG)

It is quite normal with frost this time of the year so we can't complain — sometimes the frost kills everything in late August.
I had some half-hearted plans to make more apple butter today — but there were only four apples left on the tree. I wasn't a bit disappointed!
Life is good!
