I love this little picture. It reminds me of the days (long, long ago!) when I used to play with the marbles together with my sister. And she always won ! I still have some nice marbles of my children who played the same game when they were young. Hope your November days are a bit better than the ones we actually have (it's raining all the time). Greetings from Barbara
Barbara, I've never been good with marbles - so if I had a nice marble or two, I knew better than to play with them as I knew I'd lose them! There is nothing nice to say about our weather! But reading by the fire is not too bad. Take care! Margaretha

It is easier to say what and who I'm not. — I'm not my profession — I'm not my salay — I'm not my age — I'm not my illness — I'm not my civil status So who am I? — a person just the right size and age — an untidy pedant — a conservative radical And what do I do? — weave — read — listen to music, classical preferably baroque
They meant to read it's just that while reaching for the book the marbles fell out of the basket and well.....
SvaraRaderaJodi,
SvaraRaderaI'm sure you're right - who can resist some lovely marbles?
