Today









It's always the same branch on the same maple that gets read leaves in mid august.

    How filled with beauty is this world........We need to open our eyes.Are wild columbines blooming NOW in Sweden?

    Kristi,
    No, we don't have wild columbines in Sweden - but our tame ones leads a rather promiscuous life so there are all kinds of them. But this one is either a very late bloomer - or early. I'm not sure which.

    I like the light caught in your beautiful pictures and I guess it was evening, wasn't it? The first picture reminds me of holidays in Finland when I was young :-) !

    Barbara,
    Yes, all pictures except for the first one of the river, are taken just before seven in the evening.
    Norway, Finland and Sweden look very much the same at many places.
    It has been a nice day - although a bit cloudy - you can look at the pictures from today's picnic at the Swedish blog (http://bastmattan.blogspot.com/).
