Harvesting Raspberries

Crimson in a background of green:  
A sign, not of Yuletide, but of Harvest time. 
At the touch of one's tongue,  
Ripened red clusters detonate  
Bursts of sweet juicy goodness,  
Awakening taste buds 
And firing the synapses 
With undulating waves of pleasure!  
A deluge of deliciousness!

      Yes, it is lovely to be able to indulge in fresh raspberries and still have more than plenty to put in the freezer!
